Empyreal Night

My second attempt at a northern lights landscape was created out of the urge to perfect a technique from the first painting of its kind. I was striving for more vibrant and distinct shapes in the sky and a more detailed foreground. I’m both grateful and fortunate that my mind obsessively occupies itself with new ways to paint and improve a beautiful picture.
