This was a series I worked on for 3 years. Inspired by my visits to many beaches in New England and the hikes I took. I have always been attracted to natural organic objects and the beach rocks were the first to be studied and painted and then I started noticing what washes up on tidal lines. Pinecones, weathered , sticks, and some wonderful lichens on sticks. I arranged into "still - life" and painted these.
