Living With Uncertainty II

The collaborations with my wife, Victoria, combines images of our work. I take an image of Victoria’s drawing and the image of my photograph and combine them in Photoshop. I start the process by removing the negative space and other unwanted parts from both images. This is a time-consuming task since the space between each branch is removed. Then I combine them through layering and masking to achieve the desired archival pigment print image, determining what parts of each image should be shown and which branches may be intertwined. The viewer is left to determine which is which.
